Carlos Ferro is the actor who played Ensign Dern, a redshirt flight controller who appeared (and died) in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Genesis".

He is primarily a voiceover actor, having done voice work on various video games and animated television cartoons. Among the latter was an episode of Justice League which also featured the voice of Rene Auberjonois. He was also a principal voice actor on the animated series Spawn, as were Ronny Cox, Kurtwood Smith, and Dwight Schultz.
