The Cardassian Mechanized Infantry is a division of the Cardassian Central Command presumably charged with with ground operations. At one point in time Elim Garak claimed he was formerly a Gul in the Cardassian Mechanized Infantry but given Garak's mental state at the time and his propensity for fabrication, this claim remains unverified.
