Capella (or Alpha Aurigae) was a multiple star (spectral classes G5, G0, M2 and M4) between the Federation and the Klingon Empire, at a distance of 42.2 light years from Sol. It was located in or near Federation space. (TNG: "Conspiracy")

Capella was the primary for planet Capella IV. (TOS: "Friday's Child")
