Canopus Planet is a planet located in the Canopus system. In 1996, the poet Phineas Tarbolde wrote the famous love sonnet "Nightingale Woman" on this planet. (TOS: "Where No Man Has Gone Before")

Given its informal designation, it is possible that "Canopus Planet" might actually be one of the already known inhabited planets in the Canopus system: II, III, or V.
