A cafe is a small restaurant where drinks and snacks are sold.

The Café des Artistes was a small restaurant situated in Paris, Earth. (TNG: "We'll Always Have Paris")

In 2368, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Ambassador Spock ate some soup at a small cafe on Romulus, whilst waiting for Senator Pardek to arrive. (TNG: "Unification II")

In 2372, in an alternate timeline, Cosimo's was a cafe in San Francisco, owned by a man named Cosimo. Harry Kim frequently visited the cafe on his way to work. (VOY: "Non Sequitur")
