Caere was an inhabited planet located between Deep Space 4 and Indri VIII.

In 2369, Richard Galen, who was en route to Indri VIII from the USS Enterprise-D, planned to take a Vulcan ship to Deep Space 4, at which point he would transfer to an Al-Leyan transport, which would take him as far as Caere, where he could then shuttle from to Indri Eight. (TNG: "The Chase")
