A bus, or coach, was a type of large automobile especially designed for the transport of passengers over a designated route. A typical bus bore signs on the body and on interior panels advertising products. Passengers were informed by signs about behaving properly and being safe on a bus. Above the driver's window, there was a destination display which displayed information on the route's number and major streets on that route.
