Buckskins were a type of clothing, best known for being worn by people of the Old West.
When asked to join in their holoprogram of the Battle of the Alamo, Vic Fontaine told Julian Bashir and Miles O'Brien that he didn't look good in buckskin. (DS9: "Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang")
