The Bringloid system was a planetary system near the Mariposa colony. This system was located in the Ficus sector. The primary was named Bringloid. There were at least five planets in this system.
For two centuries, before its evacuation by the USS Enterprise-D in 2365, an Earth colony thrived on the planet Bringloid V. This changed when the star Bringloid underwent a period of transformation rendering the planet unlivable for Humans. (TNG: "Up The Long Ladder")
