The Bringloid V colony was located on Bringloid V in the Bringloid system, Ficus sector. It was founded by human Neo-transcendentalists, but all records were lost in the chaos of the early 22nd century.
In 2365, the 223 inhabitants who inhabited the colony, and called themselves the Bringloidi, left the colony when Bringloid, this system's primary, entered a period of severe flare activity in 2365 and were relocated to the Mariposa colony, another lost Earth colony in the Ficus sector.
Both the Bringloidi and Mariposans had been transported to their respective colonies by the colony ship SS Mariposa. (TNG: "Up The Long Ladder")
