Bride of Frankenstein was a horror movie. The sequel to Frankenstein, it was one of the three greatest horror films ever made, according to Trip Tucker. The film was followed by a sequel, Son of Frankenstein.

The three movies were shown in successive nights on the Enterprise NX-01. After finding the first movie very interesting, T'Pol was anxious to watch its sequel, even although it was not based on a literary work. (ENT: "Horizon")

This movie is similarly titled to the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Bride of Chaotica!".
