Brian Bennett is an actor turned into stuntman who appeared as a Starfleet Academy cadet in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fifth season episode "The First Duty" in 1992. He filmed his scenes for this episode on Monday 27 January 1992 on location at the Japanese Garden and on Friday 3 January 1992 and Monday 3 February 1992 on Paramount Stage 16. His uniform from this episode was also worn by Brian Hall and later sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1] Eleven years later, Bennett portrayed an Enterprise NX-01 crewman in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "The Crossing". His uniform from this episode was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay and was also worn by background actor Larry Tolliver. [2]

Bennett has performed stunts in the comedy Class Act (1992, along Tony Brubaker, Gary Baxley, Scott Leva, Rita Minor, and Kym Washington), the action drama Street Knight (1993, under stunt coordination of Rick Avery), the thriller One Eight Seven (1997), the thriller Most Wanted (1997, with stunts by Anita Hart, Rosine "Ace" Hatem, Johnny Martin, and Gary Wayton), The Practice episode The Means (1997, along Buck McDancer and under coordination of Alan Oliney), Rob Bowman's The X-Files (1998, with Dennis Madalone, Chris Blackwood, Tommy J. Huff, and Nancy Thurston), the television action film Inferno (1998, with stunts by Jeff Cadiente, Erik Cord, and Spiro Razatos), and the science fiction thriller The Astronaut's Wife (1999, with Dana Hee).

Further stunt credits include the comedy Next Friday (2000, along Doug and Eliza Coleman, Max Daniels, Danny Downey, Eddie Perez, and Manny Perry), Roland Emmerich's war drama The Patriot (2000), the science fiction comedy Evolution (2001), and the action drama Biker Boyz (2003, with Keii Johnston, Hugh Aodh O'Brien, and Lin Oeding). He doubled actor Mike Epps in the comedy Friday After Next (2002, with Eugene Collier and Denney Pierce).

Bennett was among the stunt performers who received a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture for Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End in 2008. Blackwell, Keith Campbell, Jay Caputo, Alex Chansky, Fernando Chien, Ilram Choi, Shawn Crowder, Phil Culotta, Mark DeAlessandro, John Dixon, J. Mark Donaldson, Thomas DuPont, Paul Eliopoulos, Jeremy Fry, Mickey Giacomazzi, Erica Grace, Charles Grisham, Al Goto, Lisa Hoyle, Yoshio Iizuka, Keii Johnston, Theo Kypri, Christopher Leps, James Lew, Kurt D. Lott, Rob Mars, Angela Meryl, Tom Morga, Marty Murray, Hugh Aodh O'Brien, Lin Oeding, Jim Palmer, Denney Pierce, J.P. Romano, Gregg Sargeant, Lincoln Simonds, Xuyen Valdivia, Webster Whinery, Webster Whinery, Jr., Brian J. Williams, and Jeff Wolfe were also among the stunt ensemble.
