Brentalia was an inhabited planet.

The planet was designated as a "protected" planet by the Federation where endangered lifeforms from different worlds could be brought so their numbers could increase again and later be reestablished on their homeworlds. In 2368, two of the remaining fourteen Corvan gilvos were transported from Corvan II to Brentalia by the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "New Ground")

Later that year, Alexander Rozhenko told a story about him and Worf visiting the zoo on the planet and interacting with a Kryonian tiger to Clara Sutter. (TNG: "Imaginary Friend")

"bren-TAL-ee-uh" was the pronunciation for this planet's name from the script pronunciation guide for "Imaginary Friend". [1]
