Brenda Taylor worked as a production assistant on Star Trek: First Contact.

Taylor has also worked in the same position for the horror film Judge and Jury (1996, with Bob Minor, Christopher Doyle, and Gene LeBell), Garry Marshall's drama The Other Sister (1999, with Linda Thorson and Stephen Blackehart), the bio-pic Blow (2001), and the comedy Joe Dirt (2001).

Taylor has also experiences as a second assistant director for the film Safe House (1998, starring Patrick Stewart) and the drama Finding Home (2003, with Genevieve Bujold and Louise Fletcher).

According to the Internet Movie Database she also worked in the sound department, as a sound editor for films such as Dublin Nightmare (1958), The Man Who Liked Funerals (1959), and Killer's Moon (1979).
