Brenda Kalosh is an assistant director who worked on the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Prior to her work on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Kalosh worked as DGA Trainee on the television series Finder of Lost Loves (1984) and Simon & Simon (1984, with Mary Carver), the science fiction film Invaders from Mars (1986, with Louise Fletcher, Eric Pierpoint, and second unit director John Dykstra), and the crime comedy Legal Eagles (1986). She then worked as second second assistant director on the crime movie The Morning After (1986), the television series Hill Street Blues (1986-1987) and Beverly Hills Buntz (1987-1988), the science fiction sequel Critters 2 (1988, with Scott Grimes), and the drama Steel Magnolias (1989, with Bibi Besch).

Credits as second assistant director include the crime drama Mississippi Burning (1988, with Brad Dourif), the television series Columbo (1989) and Christine Cromwell (1989-1990), the television drama The Big One: The Great Los Angeles Earthquake (1990, with Brock Peters, Richard Herd, and Ed Begley, Jr.), the television drama The Boys (1991), the drama Paris Trout (1991) for which she won a Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Dramatic Specials with director Stephen Gyllenhaal, the thriller The Hand That Rocks The Cradle (1992, with Matt McCoy), the comedy series Man of the People (1991-1992, starring Kate Mulgrew), the television thriller Exclusive (1992), and the comedy The Favor (1994).

Kalosh moved up and worked as first assistant director on the television drama Moment of Truth: Why My Daughter? (1993), the television series Campus Cops (1995-1996, starring J.D. Cullum and Monte Markham) and Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (1993-1995, starring Joe Lando and Chad Allen), the television thriller A Kiss So Deadly (1996), and several episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2000), The Michael Richards Show (2000-2001), Angel (2001-2002), Firefly (2002), Andy Richter Controls the Universe (2002-2003), Girlfriends (2002-2008, starring Golden Brooks), Lincoln Heights (2008-2009), Dollhouse (2009-2010), Huge (2010), and The Nine Lives of Chloe King (2011).
