Bregit lung (bIreq tagh) is a Klingon food often prepared on Klingon warships.
Commander William T. Riker said he enjoyed bregit lung when it was served aboard the IKS Pagh. (TNG: "A Matter Of Honor")
Alexander Rozhenko ordered a bowl of bregit lung from the replicator in the mess hall on board the IKS Rotarran in 2374. (DS9: "Sons and Daughters")
This dish is can be made from the breathing apparatus of any number of animals Star Trek: Klingon. It should not be confused with Durani Lizard Skins (Duran lung dir) in which lung is pronounce "loong" tlhIngan Hol, and refers to animals including reptiles and salamanders.
