The brachial artery is the major blood vessel in the upper arm of humanoids.
In 2373, Commander Worf stabbed General Martok during a training exercise, and missed severing Martok's brachial artery by less than three centimeters. Doctor Bashir treated the wound with an auto-suture. (DS9: "Soldiers of the Empire")
