The Boston Red Sox were a professional baseball team on Earth during the 20th century representing the city of Boston.
In 2372, Nog sent Jake Sisko a holosuite program featuring a game between the 1961 New York Yankees and the 1978 Boston Red Sox. Upon recieving it, Jake asked his father and Kasidy Yates if they wanted to watch it with him; Kasidy agreed and offered to "buy the hotdogs," however, Benjamin had to pass because he was due in Ops.
