Changes: Boradis system

The Boradis system was an inhabited system. This system was affliated with the United Federation of Planets. In the same sector as this system, there were nine other Federation colonies. These colonies, plus the four in the system, had minimal defenses and would be soft targets for a marauding warship.

In 2331, the first Federation outpost was established on Boradis III. Between that time and 2365, the Federation would colonized three other planets in the system.

Thirty-four years later, the USS Enterprise-D intercepted a Class-8 probe occupied by Special Federation Emissary K'Ehleyr, with orders from Starfleet for a new mission. The new mission required the Enterprise to intercept the Klingon sleeper ship IKS T'Ong from the late 23rd century and prevent it from attacking the Federation colonies. (TNG: "The Emissary")

According to the script for this episode, the name of this system was pronounced "bo-RAD-iss." [1]
