The Bolian sector is a region of space in the Alpha Quadrant, where the Bolarus system, and the Bolian homeworld, Bolarus IX, are located.

Riley Frazier told Chakotay that she had been on a starship in this sector, when her ship had been attacked by an unknown species, which then put the crew into stasis and transported them to the Delta Quadrant. However, in fact Frazier had been assimilated at the Battle of Wolf 359, but she didn't want Chakotay to know she had been a Borg. (VOY: "Unity")

In the Species 8472 recreation of Earth, on Terrasphere 8, Admiral Bullock assigned the new officers Young and Reiskin to Orbital Flight Control where they would be monitoring incoming vessels from the Bolian sector. (VOY: "In the Flesh")
