A blue match was a one of the two types of Tsunkatse matches.

It was characterized by blue pit lights and blue polaron disruptors on the fighters' gloves and footwear. In a blue match, a fighter won by knocking out his or her opponent or otherwise causing so much pain to the opponent that he or she was unwilling to continue. This was opposed to the other type of Tsunkatse match, the red match, which did not end until one opponent killed the other. (VOY: "Tsunkatse")
