"Blue Skies" was a song originally written and performed by Irving Berlin in 1927 and would become a 20th century pop-standard.
In 2379, Lieutenant Commander Data sang "Blue Skies" at the wedding reception of Deanna and William Riker, dedicating it to the happy couple. The performance was enjoyed by all, except Worf, who was not a fan of Irving Berlin. Following the destruction of Data, his "brother" B-4, who had received all of Data's memories and files, inadvertently began to hum excerpts from "Blue Skies". (Star Trek: Nemesis)
