Bloomington was a town in the state of Indiana, USA on the North American continent on Earth.

Kathryn Janeway was born and raised in Bloomington and promised to take Seven of Nine to it when they returned to Earth. She felt that the closer USS Voyager came to Earth the closer she came to Bloomington. Seven said it seemed to be a "pleasant" environment. (VOY: "Imperfection")

Henry Janeway went to Bloomington when he needed supplies, because the local stores in Portage Creek were boycotting him in response to his resistance against the Millennium Gate. (VOY: "11:59")
