Bio-genovesium (bottom)
Bio-genovesium is a liquid compound that is used aboard Federation starships and is able to break down organic components of humanoid waste products. It also has the ability to transform these organic molecules into different compounds.
Bio-genovesium was one of a list of compounds that Lieutenant Commander Data and Deanna Troi searched through in an attempt to find one that could produce enough energy to release the Enterprise-D and an alien ship from the Tyken's Rift in 2367. (TNG: "Night Terrors")
- The text from the okudagram which displayed information about bio-genovesium states: "Energetic carbon-based biological reactant, used for in [sic] the bio-neutralization of organic waste products prior to electrolytic fractioning and recycling. Stored in liquid form."
