Retired captain Bill Larson is the former captain of the 1989 built sailing vessel Lady Washington which was used as filming location in Star Trek Generations.
Larson himself appeared as the helmsman whom Marina Sirtis turned the helm to. [1] He served as captain between 1993 and 1996.
