Bill Ames is an actor who played a Pakled officer in the Star Trek: The Next Generation second season episode "Samaritan Snare". As a background actor Ames received no credit and was identified by the name tag of his costume which was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay and also worn by background actor Dan Lake. [1]

Ames appeared as a bartender in the 1995 short western Crossroads of Laredo.
