Beverly Leech (born 23 May 1959; age 64) is the actress who played Dayla in the Star Trek: Voyager seventh season episode "Nightingale". She also voiced the character Yraxys in the video game Star Trek: Away Team.
Leech was born as Beverly Ann Leech in Paris, Texas. She was discovered by a talent scout and became a semi-finalist on the second season of the talent show Star Search in the category actor/actress in 1984-1985. Since 1999, she has been married to actor and writer Christian J. Meoli. Leech has a daughter from a previous marriage. She studied stage acting under the famous acting coach Stella Adler and is well known for her extensive resume of stage plays.
In 1988 she played Bianca Torres, a recurring character, in the soap Days of Our Lives and between 1987 and 1990 she portrayed Sergeant Kate Monday in the crime/comedy series Mathnet, a serialized parody of Dragnet that aired as a segment of the PBS children's educational series Square One Television.
