Beth Woods is a writer who wrote with Steve Gerber the Star Trek: The Next Generation second season episode "Contagion" in 1988. Lieutenant Commander Beth Woods, a name seen on an okudagram in this episode, was named after her. Together with Gerber she was interviewed by Bill Florence in 1994 for the article "Steve Gerber & Beth Woods: Creators of 'Contagion'" in The Official Star Trek: The Next Generation Magazine, Vol. 28.

Woods also wrote the Captain Simian & The Space Monkeys episode "Invasion of the Banana Snatchers" in 1996 and received thanks as Beth Slick in the end credits of the 1996 comedy Pie in the Sky.
