Deletion
Deletion has been suggested for this page according to the deletion policy. In the normal day-to-day operations of Memory Alpha, some pages are deleted for various reasons. This deletion suggestion and reasoning can be discussed on:
Betelgeuse is the central star of the Betelgeuse system, which makes up part of the constellation Orion. (TNG: "Family")
This star system, which located within Federation space during the 23rd century, was the home to the Betelgeusians. (Star Trek: The Motion Picture)
According to production sources, and as published in Star Trek: The Magazine Volume 2, Issue 9, the Betelgeusians homeworld was the planet Betelgeuse II.
