Beta VI Colony was the name of a Federation colony in the mid-23rd century. The colony was located on Beta VI, the sixth planet in the Beta System. This distant colony was located over nine hundred light years from Earth, on the far side of a star desert.
In 2267, the USS Enterprise was scheduled to deliver supplies to the colony when it was intercepted by Trelane's planet Gothos. (TOS: "The Squire of Gothos")
Beta VI was only seen in the remastered episode. The planet was a reuse of Sigma Iotia II as seen in the remastered "A Piece of the Action".
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, on the chart "United Federation of Planets I", Beta VI was listed as a member planet of the Federation in 2378.
