Beta VI Colony was the name of a Federation colony on a distant M-class planet in the mid-23rd century. This distant colony was located nine hundred light years from Earth, on the far side of a star desert.
In 2267, the USS Enterprise was scheduled to deliver supplies to the colony when it was intercepted by Trelane's planet Gothos. (TOS: "The Squire of Gothos")
Beta VI was only seen in the remastered episode. The planet was a reuse of Sigma Iotia II as seen in the remastered "A Piece of the Action".
It was not known if the planet was itself named Beta VI.
