Beta Ursae Minor II was the inhabited second planet in the Beta Ursae Minor system.

Beta Ursae Minor II housed an annex or branch of Starfleet Academy when Darien Wallace was a graduating cadet, according to his personnel file. (TNG: "Eye of the Beholder")

Background Edit

The second brightest star located in the constellation Ursa Minor (the first brightest is Polaris) and ca. 126 light years from Sol, this system's primary has been called "Kochab" by astronomers on Earth. The system was described on Darien Wallace's personnel file as "Beta Ursae Minor", although the more correct notation would be "Beta Ursae Minoris".
