The Beta Quadrant is the common designation for one-quarter of the Milky Way Galaxy.

The Yattho, a species known for the precognative abilities, are native to the Beta Quadrant. (VOY: "Before and After")

In 2363, Captain Lisa Cusak and the crew of the USS Olympia began a seven year exploration voyage in the Beta Quadrant. (DS9: "The Sound of Her Voice")
