The Beloti sector was a region of space. The Mericor system was located in this sector.

In the Federation-Cardassian War, the Cardassians mined the sector with gravitic mines.

In 2368, the USS Denver was transporting 517 colonists to a destination in the sector. The transport ship was heavily damaged by one of these gravitic mines. The last message received from the Denver said they were attempting to crash land on one of the planets in the Mericor system. The USS Enterprise-D responded to the distress call and rescued survivors. (TNG: "Ethics")
