The Beastie Boys were a Human hip-hop group from Earth during the 20th and 21st centuries.

In an alternate reality, when James T. Kirk was eight years old, he took his stepfather's car out for a joyride and listened to the band's song "Sabotage". (Star Trek)

Interestingly enough, the Beastie Boys directly referenced "Star Trek" in two songs released after "Sabotage." See Star Trek parodies and pop culture references (music).
