The Beastie Boys were a Human hip-hop group from Earth during the 20th and 21st centuries.
In an alternate reality (circa 2245), a young James T. Kirk took his stepfather's Corvette out for a joyride and listened to the band's song "Sabotage". (Star Trek)
In 2259 Kirk was still a fan of the group, and listens to the song "Body Movin'" at Starfleet Academy. (Star Trek Into Darkness)
