The Battle of Zambrano was an historic battle fought on the planet Solais V during the fifteen centuries of Solari wars. This battle occurred in the far northern hemisphere of the planet, near to the pole.
Famed mediator Riva chose to hold negotiations with the Solari in a central location of the region where the Battle of Zambrano was fought. (TNG: "Loud As A Whisper")
The battle was not referenced in dialog, but rather appeared on an okudagram that Data and Riva were reviewing while attempting to select a negotiation site on the planets surface. The battle was named after episode writer Jacqueline Zambrano. (Star Trek Encyclopedia)
