The Barzanian Planetary Republic is the official government of the Barzan people, situated on Barzan II.
In 2366, the Barzanian Planetary Republic entered into negotiations with the United Federation of Planets over the Barzan wormhole. (TNG: "The Price")
The name of the Barzanian government appeared in an okudagram listing the demands of both parties. The okudagram was reproduced in Star Trek: The Next Generation - The Continuing Mission.
