Barry Curtis is a filmmaker who served as a confidentiality production assistant on 2009's Star Trek.

Curtis has produced and directed his own short films, For Love of the Film and Happy's Last Wish. He also co-wrote the former and directed photography on the latter.

As a production assistant, Curtis has worked on such television shows as Desperate Housewives (starring Teri Hatcher) and Raines (starring Linda Park). He was also the production assistant on the films Spider-Man 3 (starring Kirsten Dunst and James Cromwell) and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (featuring Pasha Lychnikoff). His Star Trek colleague J. Hanna was also a production assistant on Indiana Jones.

Curtis was the associate producer and second second assistant director on the upcoming independent comedy film Thunder Geniuses. He also co-produced and appeared in the independent horror film Albino Farm.
