The Barkon system is a star system located in or near Federation space.

In 2370, a Federation probe crashed on one of the planets in the system, Barkon IV. Lieutenant Commander Data was sent to the planet to recover radioactive material from the probe, but suffered memory loss due to contact with the materials. Several weeks later, the USS Enterprise-D arrived in the system, and recovered Data. (TNG: "Thine Own Self")
