Star Trek Barbie & Ken by Mattel
The Star Trek Edition Barbie & Ken was a special collectors' giftset of Barbie and Ken dolls. The set was released by Mattel in 1996 to commemorate Star Trek's 30th Anniversary. Both figures were dressed in TOS-style uniforms and accessories. Barbie was clad in a red Operations division miniskirt with Lieutenant's stripes, and holding a communicator and a tricorder. Ken wore a gold Command division top with Commander's stripes, black slacks and held a communicator and phaser. The packaging featured the duo standing on the original Enterprise's bridge on either side of cutouts of Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock.
- A matching analog wristwatch with storage case was produced by Hope Industries in 1996, packaged as a "collector timepiece". Both the watch and case featured images of the two dolls and the corresponding TREK and BARBIE logos.
