"That's the thing about faith: If you don't have it you cant explain it but if you do you don't have to." -Kira (DS9: "Accession")

The Bajoran religion consists of the word of the Prophets, who have guided Bajor for tens of thousands of years through the Kais. It is the most religious of the religions on Star Trek. It is also the only true religion according to most Bajorans. Unfortunately, the Bajoran faith has been in decline for many years, and current estimates show that two thirds of Bajorans identify themselves as "secular" Bajorans. The Orthodox Bajorans, led by Kai Winn Adami, have long been the defenders of the faith against such heretics as Bareil Antos and Kira Nerys, notorious for the blaspheming they committed while at a monestary on Bajor.
