The Bajoran Resistance was a global resistance movement on Bajor during the Occupation of Bajor by the Cardassian Union. The Resistance made constant raids on Cardassian forces, and was eventually successful in regaining the independence of Bajor. Kira Nerys was a member of the Bajoran Resistance. (DS9: "Emissary")
The Cardassian military leaders regarded the Bajoran Resistance as terrorists and did not hesitate to executed Bajoran civilians when a resistance cell performed a raid in which Cardassians were killed.
