B.J. Hunnicutt was a Starfleet officer in the 24th century. He was a captain at the Starfleet Operational Support Services in 2364. Early that year, he sent an order to Captain Benjamin Franklin Pierce of the USS James Fennimore Cooper about the transportation of personnel from Starbase 55 to the USS Discovery. He was named after B.J. Hunnicutt, a character from the dramedy M*A*S*H.
