The Avery system was a planetary system. This system was located in the Delta Quadrant.
In 2371, the USS Voyager conducted a survey of the system, unaware there was a hidden Vidiian base on Avery III. (VOY: "Faces")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, on page 83, the USS Voyager visited this system on stardate 48784. The Avery system's primary was a Class A star with a magnitude of +9.
