Located within walking distance of Sisko's Creole Kitchen, in the south end of New Orleans, Audubon Park was a favored destination of Joseph Sisko.

When his son, Captain Benjamin Sisko, visited New Orleans in 2372, Joseph Sisko asked Ben if he would accompany him on a "stroll" to Audubon Park, as the younger Sisko was not needed at Starfleet Command for about another hour. Ben replied that he couldn't think of anything he would rather do. (DS9: "Homefront")
