Atlanta was a city located in Georgia, a state in the southeastern US. (TOS: "The Cage")
This city was identified on a political map of the Northern Hemisphere. This map was accessed from the USS Enterprise library computer by the Talosians in 2254.
During the American Civil War, General William T. Sherman lead a destructive march on Atlanta in 1864. (VOY: "Death Wish")
During the 20th century it was the host city of the American baseball team known as the Atlanta Braves. (TNG: "The Neutral Zone")
Sergeant N. Kemper was stationed outside of Atlanta before being posted to Enterprise NX-01. (ENT: "The Xindi")
