Arvo O. Katajisto (born 16 February 1943; age 81) is an actor born in Helsinki, Finland, who worked as background performer on several episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Katajisto filmed his scenes for the fourth season episode "Qpid" on Thursday 14 February 1991 on Paramount Stage 16. On Tuesday 16 July 1991 and Wednesday 17 July 1991 he filmed his scenes for the fifth season episode "Redemption II" on Paramount Stage 9 and 16. For the episode "Unification II", Katajisto filmed his scene on Thursday 12 September 1991 on Paramount Stage 16. For "New Ground" he filmed his corridor scene on Friday 11 October 1991 on Paramount Stage 9. For his corridor scene in "Violations", Katajisto was on set on Wednesday 27 November 1991, again on Paramount Stage 9. He was also scheduled to film a corridor scene for the episode "The First Duty" but this scene (scene 51A) was not part of the final episode. For the episode "Cost of Living", he filmed his corridor scene on Wednesday 5 February 1992 on Paramount Stage 8 and for "Imaginary Friend", he filmed his Ten Forward scenes on Tuesday 3 March 1992 on Paramount Stage 8.

In 1989, he appeared as a bartender in the film Licence to Kill (with Anthony Zerbe, Cary-Hiroyuki, Christopher Neame, Carl Ciarfalio, Branscombe Richmond, and Dwayne McGee).

Katajisto also appeared in a 1991 episode of Twin Peaks, with Mädchen Amick, Richard Beymer, Ray Wise, Wendy Robie, Carel Struycken, and Michael John Anderson, and Coneheads (1993, with Michael McKean, Barry Kivel, Jason Alexander, Cameron, and Susan Lewis).

He previously worked as post-production assistant on the television movies Dead Solid Perfect (1988, with Brett Cullen and John Durbin), Steal the Sky (1988, with Ben Cross, Nicolas Surovy, Ronald Guttman, Mark Rolston, and Andreas Katsulas), Traveling Man (1989, with John Glover and Dawn Arnemann), The Heist (1989, with Wendy Hughes and Noble Willingham), and Perfect Witness (1989, with Colm Meaney). Today, Katajisto is working as a real estate director for Cityplace Townhouse Poa, Inc. [2] [3] and is a fundraiser for charity events and a committee member for events such as Polo With Pedro Annual Brunch and Polo Party [4] and the Paradise Casino. [5]
