Arthur Heinemann is a television and film writer and artist who worked on the original Star Trek series. Heinemann wrote the teleplay for "Wink of an Eye", based on a story by Lee Cronin. He also wrote "The Way to Eden" with Michael Richards, and "The Savage Curtain" with Gene Roddenberry.

Heinemann worked on the Disney masterpiece, Fantasia, as a writer, although during the 1940s he mostly worked as an animator. In the 1950s he transitioned into writing, and left animation behind. In 1983, he won a Daytime Emmy award for writing the ABC Afterschool Special, The Woman Who Willed a Miracle.
