After this attempt was thwarted, Benjamin Sisko said that "Armageddon will have to wait for another day". (DS9: "By Inferno's Light")
- It is interesting to note that protomatter was tied in with the concept of Armageddon in both occasions. Several episodes and novels have had "Armageddon" in their title including "A Taste of Armageddon", "Armageddon Game" and "Armageddon Sky". The Reckoning could be described as an Armageddon-type event.
